What is the Primary Heads Forum?
Known as PHF, we represent and support headteachers to ensure they are able to deliver the highest possible standards for their pupils.
We do this by:
- Working in partnership with the local authority and other key providers such as Herts for Learning and Herts Catering Limited, to ensure that the delivery of statutory responsibilities meets schools’ needs
- Providing a local network of support for primary Headteachers to support professional and personal welfare
- Providing a forum for professional discussion and debate on the development of primary education and the enhancement of this provision in Hertfordshire
- Representing the views and challenges of an increasingly diverse range of primary settings.
PHF supports school improvement by encouraging collaboration through a network of partnership work across Hertfordshire. We aim to support and facilitate co-operation, support and challenge within and between primary schools and academies in Hertfordshire. PHF also promotes collaboration between phases and agencies.
